An ongoing initiative by the Center's for Disease Control and Prevention is the Million Heart's Initiative--aimed at reducing heart attacks and strokes by one million in the next five years through the proliferation partnerships, toolkits, education, and health managment incentives. These interventions are aimed at reducing sodium intake, blood pressure managment, reducing cholesterol and increasing healthy activities.
